As Christmas approaches, if you are thinking about giving family and/or friends a bottle of wine in the spirit of the season, please consider supporting Matheson Creek Camp. We have registered with Frisky Beaver, a well-known Port Dover winery in Ontario, and have been well pleased with the quality and variety of products sold by the winery. The prices are more than competitive, and the names of some of their wines are humorous. The quality is excellent and the delivery time to your door is within a few days. Matheson Creek Camp has a number of medical LifeSave thermometers available to distribute for a donation of $30 each or 2 for $50 (retail price: $169.95). 

These non-contact infrared thermometers are brand new, in original package with batteries included, and are the same units used in medical facilities throughout Canada.

Matheson Creek Camp is hoping to get certified by the Ministry of Health in 2024 as a Recreational Camp.

In order to have all our buildings and structures in first class condition, we must make many repairs to facilities that had no planned maintenance for over a decade.  

Matheson Creek Camp is operated by Communities Connecting for Children, a Canadian Registered Charity whose main goal is to get the camp up and running for the Community of Simcoe County and surrounding areas.

Our goal is to make Matheson Creek Camp a hub of activity based in nature, outdoors, training and education, and cultural experiences from Canada’s past.

To make the repairs, improvements and purchase the necessary equipment, we are endeavoring to fundraise the necessary funds to allow us to be completely certified and welcome the Community to our facility.

We welcome donations of clothing, linens, towels, shoes, purses, books, small appliances, knick knacks, and pretty much anything that is not too big.  We cannot take large appliances, tv’s, furniture, etc.

We will be collecting all year long – so please call for pick up, or to arrange to drop off at the Camp.
